What automatic alerts exist for products with low or zero stock?

Jestor's stock movement template shows two automatic warnings on the dashboard: low-stock items, calculated against the minimum stock defined for each product, and out-of-stock items, for products with a zero quantity.

Why separate low stock from zero stock?

A low-stock product can still be sold, but needs restocking soon. A zero-stock product can no longer be sold at all. Treating both as the same alert would make the team lose track of the real urgency in each situation — that's why Jestor shows them separately on the dashboard.

How to set up and track these alerts in Jestor?

  1. When registering or moving a product, set that item's minimum stock field.
  2. Jestor automatically compares current stock against that minimum.
  3. Products below the minimum show up in the "low stock items" indicator.
  4. Products with zero quantity show up separately under "out of stock items," alongside the list of items that need an inbound movement.

Alert When it appears
Low stock items Current quantity below the defined minimum stock
Out of stock items Current quantity at zero

Why choose Jestor?

Since the template comes fully integrated with Omie, every inbound or outbound movement logged in Jestor updates stock in real time, keeping both alerts always reflecting the product's actual situation — including via the mobile app.
