How to set a different language from the rest of the account just for your own user

To use a language different from the rest of the account, go to Settings > Language and region and adjust the "my language" field separately from the "system language" — the change only applies to your login, without affecting other users.

Why separate your personal language from the account language?

Distributed teams often mix people with different language preferences. An account set up in English, for example, might have a Brazilian user who prefers to navigate in Portuguese day to day.

Forcing everyone to use the same language creates unnecessary friction, especially when most of the team is already used to the interface in another language.

How to configure it

  1. Go to Settings in the Jestor menu.
  2. Open the Language and region section.
  3. Adjust the "my language" field to the option you want, without changing the "system language."
  4. Save — the change appears only for your user.
